PVC ice bath adopts inflatable structure + roll shipment method. A 40HQ container can usually be loaded 5–8 times more than hard acrylic or fiberglass structure, significantly reducing logistics costs. At the same time, hard cold plunge usually requires fixed installation or integral transportation, which has additional requirements for warehousing and construction.
If it is wholesale, e-commerce or multi-store laying, the PVC solution has more obvious advantages in early investment and turnover efficiency; the hard structure is more inclined to long-term fixed scenarios, and the cost of single-point use is higher.

In the PVC ice bath projects we ship, most basic models are used in a dependent “ice + water change” mode, which can usually maintain a water temperature range of 10–15°C, suitable for general fitness recovery or lightweight use scenarios.
If used in high-frequency commercial use (such as gyms or rehabilitation centers), we generally recommend using chiller, which can stabilize the temperature in the 3–10°C range.
Does not affect normal structural life, which depends on production process control.
Our factory adopts high frequency thermal combination + multi-layer PVC composite structure, and the weld strength is designed according to repeated charging and deflation working conditions. In standard testing, the product can withstand more than hundreds of charge and bleed cycles without significant structural loosening.
Two more critical points in actual use are: avoiding overinflation (exceeding design pressure); and avoiding long-term contact of sharp objects with the seam area.
Does not affect material properties.
SPORIT’s PVC ice bath is a folding vacuum packaging or compression packaging design when it leaves the factory. PVC material has a certain resilience. After unfolding and inflating, it will restore its structural shape and will not cause permanent deformation due to short-term compression transportation.
We do airtight inspection before shipment to ensure that there will be no micro leakage or structural damage due to compression during transportation. For cross-border transport, this compressed state is instead a standard way to reduce damage rates.
Core differences in material cost, flexibility, and service life ranges.
PVC structure is more suitable for making standardized batch products, has good cost control, and is suitable for mid-to-low to mid-end market distribution; TPU materials are better in flexibility and low temperature resistance, but the material cost is usually higher and the production process requirements are more stringent.
In real projects: PVC ice bath is more suitable for scale-up, e-commerce and gym standard equipment. TPU is more commonly used for high-end or extreme environmental use needs
